Weekly Update

Over the past week we have been busy creating and practicing our play for the Winter Celebration. We all got to work with a Quest Theatre instructor and had the opportunity to create our own script. Students performed on Thursday in front of family and friends.
In math we continued to work on numbers of objects in a group.
In Language Arts we have learned the letters K and G as well as their sounds.
Please keep in mind that Thursday is our last day of school before the break.

Winter Celebration

“Hello families,

Tickets for the Winter Celebration were handed to students today. Our performance with Quest Theater has changed the set up of our gym for this year’s performance, and we were left with fewer tickets to give out than in past years. We have given out all available tickets and are at full capacity for the Thursday night performance. Just a reminder that the performance starts at 6:30 PM on Thursday, December 12, and doors will open at 6:00 PM. Anyone attending the evening performance must have a ticket to attend. If you were unable to get tickets for the evening performance, you are welcome to come to the afternoon performance, which will start at 1:30. We have room for approximately 90 spectators for the afternoon show. If you are hoping to attend the afternoon show, please just let your child’s teacher know so we can have a general idea of how many people to expect.

Please ensure you have a chance to look through our lost and found (located in the lunch room), when you come to watch your child perform. Students will also have the chance to look through the lost and found with their teachers on Friday morning. Anything left in the Lost and Found after December 18th will be donated.

Thank you for your time, and if you have any questions, please contact the school.”

Thanks so much!

Weekly Update

Kindergarten has been hard at work learning letters and sounds and practicing for their Quest Theatre performance.
Please look at the pictures bellow to see which letters and sounds we have been learning about so far.  Ask your child to tell you about these letters and sounds. You can also play a fun game of finding things around the house that start with these letters.  Each of the sounds comes with an action, ask your child if they remember the action.
